Preventive methods for reducing efficiency of bag filter

The good air permeability of dust removal bags is not achieved by increasing the aperture, but by reducing the aperture at the same time, rather than relying solely on the material's air permeability. The surface of the dust removal bag is smooth, the dust is not easy to stick, and the degree of epidemic prevention reaches a self-cleaning type, which is based on the understanding that the quality of the filter material itself cannot be improved. Any statement that emphasizes that the high filtration speed of the dust removal bag will threaten the life of the filter bag is at the cost of sacrificing the number of bags and increasing the volume of the dust collector. It can also increase the pores, which can form the advantage of low resistance. The current allowable filtration wind speed of the filter material in the dust removal bag is 1.2 meters per second, with low and approximately constant wind resistance, fewer cleaning times, and energy savings. The filtering wind speed is high, the filter bag has a long service life, and the material strength is high, toughness is good, wear resistance, and high temperature aging resistance.
Methods to prevent bag filter from reducing efficiency:
1、 Prevent short circuit of internal airflow in the dust collector. Due to the high dust concentration in the dust source gas, even if only one percent short circuits out, it will exceed the emission standards.
2、 Block the air leakage port, especially the air leakage of the dust collector exhaust port. Because there is a large amount of slowly falling dust in the ash hopper of the dust collector, the upward leakage airflow causes the falling dust to fly again and circulate multiple times. Therefore, the air leakage at the ash outlet can cause the dust concentration inside the dust collector to be twice higher than that of the intake air, which deteriorates the working conditions of the bag filter and affects its dust removal efficiency.
3、 The efficiency of a bag filter mainly depends on the dust bag and the thickness of the dust layer on the bag. Generally speaking, the filter material is dense, the dust layer is thick, and the efficiency is high; But the corresponding gas processing capacity decreases, that is, the filtering wind speed is low. How to increase the filtration wind speed while ensuring stable rates and pressure losses in the dust collector is a problem that needs further research. The increase in filtering wind speed depends on the cleaning method and the performance of the filter material.
